I’d like to bring up the topic of access. Hearing loss should never be a “barrier to entry” to knowledge, information, or opportunities – but, sadly, it often is. From work to social settings to in-class learning, lack of “access” is a real frustration. Also annoying is having to rely on someone else to get you up-to-speed. Microsoft is trying hard to raise these barriers by implementing technologies to better level the playing field. The Windows 10 anniversary update includes an ASL support team.
